Last month I looked at one of Michael Hardaker's excellent professional-style camera apps, 645 Pro Mk II, which brings many of the features of a Medium Format camera to iOS devices. The app has a nicely-designed carousel interface for changing film types and filters that allow a user to set the camera app up in a similar way to how a real camera could be readied.

An update (version 3.10) has just been released and as well as a couple of bug fixes, adds ten new graduated filters, including (the rubric informs us) "tobacco brown and sunset orange variants".

There are three new filters marked Tobacco Grad, as well as three Sunset Grad filters. Between these I also saw that there is now a trio of Blue Grad filters. Each of these filters grades the effect, subtly increasing its application.

The bug fixes reported are:

  • Unprocessed Files button works correctly on iPad;
  • When saving unprocessed images alone, Back section works correctly.
