Epson Printers win Prestigious Red Dot Award and iF Design Award

It is reported that four of Epson's printers have won Red Dot awards from the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen design center. The awards are given based on nine criteria that include innovation, functionality, ergonomics, ecological compatibility, and durability.

The printers that won the award were,

  • XP-8500/6000 multifunction inkjet printers
  • WF-3720/4720/4730/4740 multifunction inkjet printers
  • ET-2700/2750/3700/3750/4750 ink tank inkjet printers
  • EB-1795F portable projector

It was also announced by Epson that two of its other printers - ET-2700/3700/3750/4750 cartridge-free ink tank inkjet printers and its WorkForce Pro WF-3720/4720/4730/4740 multifunction inkjet printers - were named iF Design Award 2018 winners by Hanover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH
