Cassandra: Pro Apps bundle for Education Available in Thailand; New Thai Music from "Hugo" on iTunes |
|
By Graham K. Rogers
This is Hugo's first Thai album since returning from New York, where is he is signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation label. Produced by J Monton Jira, this has an adult contemporary sound, with each single exploring the depths of human emotions. The stripped back album evokes a sense of minimalism. Few instruments are used to create a balance of sound and silence. The album also features songwriting from some of Thailand's best talent including Fong Beer, Pae Arak, Eak Zero Hero, Eak Taxi and Nueng Narongvit.
Graham K. Rogers teaches at the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University in Thailand. He wrote in the Bangkok Post, Database supplement on IT subjects. For the last seven years of Database he wrote a column on Apple and Macs. He is now continuing that in the Bangkok Post supplement, Life. He can be followed on Twitter (@extensions_th) |
