Cassandra

I would expect there to be quite a few new users of Apple products after the Christmas and new year period: traditionally a time of giving. With the reported numbers of new iPhone activations worldwide, as well as new iPads given to loved ones - and the continued sales of new Macs - those owning their first Apple products may need some help.

While there are many sites dedicated to offering advice, it may be the first tentative steps where things can go so wrong - or so right - for those unused to the different approach that (certainly) OS X may need, but also iOS for those unfamiliar with these systems.

I noticed earlier that iStudio in Pinklao, the store run by Com7, who also have two branches of Banana IT nearby, all on floor 3, are offering free Demo sessions every day: iOS, OS X and "Highlight Activity". The times are afternoons from 6pm Mon - Wed, 3pm Thursday and Friday, from 1pm Saturday and Sunday. A board outside shows the times along with some images of earlier demo sessions.
