Cassandra: Skype Updated (5.8) - Holding Out on Product(RED)

By Graham K. Rogers

On a day when the whole of Apple's iTunes App Store has taken on a red hue as part of the increased support and awareness of AIDS throughout the world, many of the updates that were made available had taken on a distinctly red appearance: that included the App Store front page as well.

It was unusually refreshing to see that one holdout was the latest update to Skype for iOS apps (version 5.8). In a sea of red, this stands out, defiant, in its pale blue color, with the "General improvements". Other Skype apps are similarly hued, so we should perhaps congratulate Microsoft for this show of independence.
