In an updated support document which details how users are able to use its 2-step verification method for the Apple ID, Apple has added several more countries, including Thailand, bringing the total to 59.

"Two-step verification is an additional security feature for your Apple ID that's designed to prevent anyone from accessing or using your account, even if they know your password."

More information and a complete run down on how to set up the 2-step verification on a device, is available on the Apple Support Document 5570
