As there had been a number of updates to software and apps for iOS devices during the night, I was also expecting to see some updates on OS X: perhaps iTunes. Instead, there was an update to Apple's Command Line Developer Tools for OS X Mavericks, bringing this technical application to version 5.1.0.0.

The download was some 125 MB.
