Camera 500

A few days ago I had an extensive look at the locally-developed app, Camera 500. This was free then, but now has a cost of $1.99. With its impressive range of filters and effects, this app is a rather strong editing tool both for the iPhone and the iPad. As I wrote in that review, it "would be good value at $1.99 or even $2.99. . ."

I see this evening that the app has been updated again, this time to version 1.44 and a new set of 12 filters has been added. These are marked Filter FX in the Editing tool. There are 9 color filters and 3 monochrome within the new set.

As an app that is produced in Thailand, Camera 500 surpasses many of the work from other developers here and produces output easily that is of a high standard: well worth looking at.
