Following yesterday's update to OS X Mavericks with the release of version 10.9.2, Apple has now put out an update to iTunes. This brings it to version 11.1.5.

Apple tells us that the update fixes a problem that may cause the application to quit unexpectedly when a device is connected and improves compatibility with iBooks for Macs on OSX Mavericks.

When I clicked on the Update button on the Mac App Store page I was warned that the installation could not be done until I quit iTunes and Aperture. That done, the 81.4 MB download came down quite quickly.
