12 Days Today is the final day of Apple's 12 Days of Christmas. The gift today from the 12 Days App - for those who use the Thai iTunes store - is The Rolling Stones - Sweet Summer Sun, Live in Hyde Park 2013: for me, this is a great gift.

So far we have had:

  1. Tunes from Justin Timberlake, live at the iTunes Festival in London
  2. A game called Tiny Thief
  3. A great app in Halftone 2
  4. Toca House - a children's game
  5. Home Alone - the movie
  6. An EP of tunes from Joey Yung
  7. Rayman Jungle Run
  8. Cytus
  9. A selection of songs from Wanting Qu
  10. Despicable Me Presents: Minion Madness
  11. Mr. Crab from Illusion Games

12 Days 12 Days

Out of the free gifts so far here from the iTunes Store in Thailand, I have downloaded three or four: missing the children's games, but enjoying some of the music, Home Alone and of course the Halftone 2 app which was also updated a couple of days later. Although there have been good reports concerning some of the gifts, including a local user who enjoyed the Day 10 gift, Despicable Me Presents: Minion Madness, only a couple have interested me on the personal level; but I shall of course download today's gift - the final one - as discovering the Stones was a pivotal moment for me, when a friend brought their first album to my 14th birthday.

In an article on the iDownloadBlog, Cody Lee confirmed that Mr. Crab was the gift in the USA, while reader comments added that this had been the gift in Australia and New Zealand as well. I later saw that this had been the gift for Canada.

With today being the last day of this promotion, I am pleased with the gifts from this 12 Days app overall and hoped that Apple would go to town on the final day. I think they did.
