Yesterday I reported on the notification from Microsoft that the Tag service was to be brought to an end. It was also mentioned in the email that after 19 August 2015 the service would transition to the QR code facilities of ScanLife.

One feature of the email was its garish colour: a sort of dark green with black text. This was not easy on the eyes. Microsoft seems to agree as the email was sent again this morning with a far gentler black on white panel.

There is a link in the email to the ScanLife operation to help those interested have an early look.
