Prism - copyright Adam Hart-Davis and DHD Multimedia Gallery

There have been plenty of reports this week about the alleged NSA surveillance program called PRISM. However, an interesting little point appears, by way of Mike Masnick on TechDirt who reports on apparent copyright infringement by the NSA.

They created the PRISM logo using an image, but have failed to keep to the fairly easy terms of its use, something that happens to me from time to time as well. I have downloaded the image that is used from the owner of the photograph, DHD Multimedia Gallery, which carries the works of Adam Hart-Davis: the excellent prism photo is one of these.

There, that was easy: a link to TechDirt which was my source, and a link to acknowledge the source of the photograph. Maybe the NSA needs to be reminded that they have to keep to laws as well.
