Cassandra - SingTel Announces Availability of Huawei Ascend P2: World's Fastest Smartphone

In a press release earlier today, Singtel announced that what is claimed to be the world's fastest smartphone will be made available to its customers from 6 June at the PC Show with a subscription to a SingTel Flexi plan. The PC Show runs from 6 - 9 June at Singapore Expo (Halls 5 and 6) and is said to be Singapore's longest running IT and consumer electronics show.

The SingTel press release includes information from Mr Johan Buse, SingTel's Vice President of Consumer Marketing who explained that the company had earlier in the year increased the maximum speeds of its 4G network from 75Mbps to 150Mbps, and says, "We are thrilled to introduce the first of the next generation of 4G handsets that can take full advantage of the higher speeds."
