Epson and MU

As part of its sponsorship deal with the Manchester United Football Club, which was recently renewed for a further three years, Epson has just released information about soccer clinics held in the region in April this year as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives: in Malaysia and Singapore.

32 specially selected teenagers from each country were able to benefit from coaching sessions given by Ronny Johnsen and Gary Pallister in Malaysia (21 April); and Denis Irwin and Paul Parker in Singapore (28 April).

The Epson press release notes:

The participants underwent an intensive skills coaching session with the MUSS coaches and the legends, learning a range of movements and techniques inspired by the regime used by the Manchester United first team players. The session was designed to encourage repetition of these fundamental actions in a fun and exciting way.

More information about the soccer clinics, including photographs of the events, are online at the Epson site.
