With many eyes on the Apple shareholders meeting to be held later today in the US, Xerox has announced that its board of directors has approved a quarterly cash dividend of 4.25 cents per share. This will be paid on 30 April to "shareholders of record" on 30 March: those who hold shares on that day that are listed in the records.

A press release from Xerox also reports that the board "declared a quarterly cash dividend of $20 per share on Xerox Series A Convertible Perpetual Preferred Stock. The dividend is payable on April 1 to shareholders of record on March 15."

The press release is available online.
